“ This restaurant is by far the greatest restaurant I have every stepped foot into. The vibe presented by cozy seating, dim lights, and eloquent, soft jazz music is enough to make any customer to feel at home. I always order shrimp dumplings for an appetizer, and the rainbow chicken for the meal. Each and every time the flavor never ceases to blow my mind. Although the service is a little slow, the food quality is always worth it. Staff is very friendly too ”
“ I have been eating at Charkoons for so long right now the food is to go and it is absolutely fantastic Charkoon special noodles if youve never tried them definitely try to do the Beijing dumplings another thumbs up the traditional dishes like General Sals chicken are absolutely fantastic but my personal favorite is their chicken fried rice and an chicken satay those things absolutely fantastic and classic eggrolls who could say no to that ”
“ Yeah. Real good food. Real good. Service is good. Wine list good. No desserts disappointment. Understated storefront. Sometimes parking can be an issue as there are other stores there, but you can park across the street. Definitely NOT NUEVO LATINO as captioned. Panasian is an apt description of cuisine. A gem. ”
“ We took the kids ages 5 and 8 here for a family night out. We really how delicious and fresh everything was and how much care seemed to go into the apparently from scratch dishes. My picky eater scarfed down BeiJing dumplings as well as my good eater. We all enjoyed the seafood and tofu soup that was large enough for 2 to share velvety smooth and delicate, just lovely. My husband ordered the Chen Du Chicken and it was fragrant, mildly spicy and delicious. He could not stop eating it despite being full! Gen Tsos chicken was a perfect fit for my oldest kiddo, we all loved it made with tender white meat chicken, abundant batter and that sweet sauce. Another winner was the chow kuei teow noodles. This is ideal if you are looking for an alternative to seafood fried rice filling, full of flavor with the most tender rice noodles. This place is quality Chinese food in a cosey unpretentious atmosphere. The servicev was warm and friendly and very efficient. The staff seemed to function like a team such that the whole place seemed at our service. A wonderful dinner out, thanks Char Koon. ”
“ As always food was excellent. If you are into Pacific Rim, this is the place to go. An early New Years Eve dinner, service was on point. Overall a great evening. ”
“ I cannot believe this little gem is hidden from the world. I was brought there for my birthday and it was beyond my expectations. The service, the wait, the small romantic and personal atmosphere, everything was perfect. BUT THE FOOD!... To dieeeeyaaa for. I will be back as often as I possibly can. Hands down the best food Ive had in a very long time and Im quite a foodie. ”
“ This is a small restaurant with a cozy relaxing ambiance. I ordered the Chicken Satay, Tom Yam Soup, Seafood Tofu Soup, Volcano Flank Steak, and Orchid Crispy Shrimp. The food was very good with authentic flavors. The manager Wei was courteous and the waitress was attentive. Highly recommended! ”
